"The Strange Spectrum of Mysterious Mishaps aka Curious Colour"
My next writing adventure dives into the domain of “The Strange Spectrum of Mysterious Mishaps aka Curious Colour.” A collection of short stories about the curious or deadly consequences of actions triggered by unsavory characters. I’ve detected that creatures of questionable character can often radiate an odious hue...hence the sub-title... “Curious Colour.” Within the bitter seeds of forbidding plots lies humour that’s been carefully planted so you can comfortably wander into a garden of mysterious tales, ripe and ready for plucking.

Past

"I Say My Name"
A BITTER, ICY COLD NIGHT...
Mystery writer Michael Coleman, parks at a seedy donut shop on a bitter-sleety night. He enters, grabs a coffee, sits, and opens his laptop.
He notices a waif-like little girl has been sitting all alone and shivering. He sends over a hot chocolate and donut, takes a washroom break, then leaves.
He arrives home to discover the crouching child hiding in the back of his car.
The mystery builds as Michael and his wife, Claire, begin a covert investigation that leads to a shocking and gritty underworld of child abductions, human trafficking, and murder.
"Canadian Voices Volume 1"
Canadian Voices is a powerful and moving collection of stories that stretch across the boundaries of age, skin colour, language, ethnicity, and religion to give voice to their lives and experiences as told by some of our finest Canadian writers, including Ms. Stern.
"Canadian Imprints Volume III"
A collection of stories that reflect the Canadian Mosaic of Cultures. Stories that conjure up a kaleidoscope of human experiences are eloquently captured in this anthology. Ms. Stern was proud to be invited and included in this anthology.
"The Water Buffalo That Shed Her Girdle"
Rachel Morganstein forages through her library of muddled thoughts to try and find some semblance of sanity in the odd turn her life has taken. This Water Buffalo has indeed stepped away from the herd while searching for an oasis.
